About what you will do: 

In this role, you will contribute as an experienced memory design engineer within a team developing advanced memories that will shape the future of storage and computing.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer cutting-edge memory circuits that balance speed, power efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Participate in the evolution of design methodologies and contribute to workflow optimization.

  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to develop innovative memory technology solutions through design-technology co-optimization.

  • Contribute to memory integration in both product-grade solutions and proof-of-concept demonstrators across various semiconductor applications.

Job requirements

About who you are:

  • You have an advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on analog and/or memory design.

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing various memory types, including SRAM, ROM, Flash, and emerging technologies such as MRAM, RRAM, and PCM, with experience spanning both standalone and embedded implementations (IP) for test chip development and product deployment.

  • Experience in designing optimized bitcells and arrays in close collaboration with the memory technology team.

  • Experience in SPICE modeling, including Verilog-A generation, in close collaboration with the device characterization team.

  • Experience in generating design views (Verilog, Liberty .lib, etc.) and developing robust characterization flows for memory IP.

  • Experience in design and validation of circuits using FinFET technology (1x and below).

  • We like to build a high performing dream team and count on your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to engage effectively with your colleagues, our partners, and stakeholders.

  • Good English communication skills, knowledge of French and/or Dutch is considered a bonus.
