About what you will do: 

This isn’t your typical integration role. As Process Integration Engineer, you’ll be at the center of the action, linking process, device, and test engineering and making real decisions that impact how breakthrough technologies come to life.

What you’ll do:

  • Engineer smarter flows → design and optimize process integration to cut steps, speed up cycles, and maximize learning.

  • Take ownership in the fab → set up and run integration flows in imec’s MES system, manage lots through process flows.

  • Push processes further → collaborate with unit process engineers, fine-tune recipes, and hit ambitious device targets.

  • Deep-dive into data → interpret SEM, TEM, EELS/EDX, and metrology insights and translate them into action.

  • Link process to device performance → understand the interplay between process steps on device performance.

  • Tell the story → turn raw data into sharp insights, clear reports, and strategies that move our tech forward.

About who you are:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Process, Chemical/Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar.

  • 3+ years of industry experience in process integration.

  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor module processes, especially metallization (PVD/CVD, ALD, electroplating, CMP).

  • Bonus points if you’ve worked with GDS layout files.

  • A data-driven mindset: skilled in statistical analysis, process control, and optimization.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple challenges at once.
